Description sommaire
Plante épiphyte. Fleurs de 10 à 20, blanches, oranges. Sépale dorsal à apex obtus, de 55-65 × 15-18 mm. Sépales latéraux à apex obtus, de 55-65 × 15-18 mm.
Commentaires
Nom local chez les Sakalava : Amalo ou vahinamalo. Aphrodisiaque réputé (décoction de tiges en boisson). La plante contient un suc opalescent âcre et irritant. Les propriétés attribuées à cette plante disparaissent à la dessication.
