Plante terrestre. Taille de 0 à 20 cm. Feuilles de 3 à 8, elliptiques, oblongues. Fleur unique, blanche, violette. Sépale dorsal cordiforme, ovale. Sépales latéraux soudés. Pétales elliptiques, oblongs. Labelle en sabot. Chromosomes : 2n=40.
