Plante terrestre, lithophyte. Taille de 0 à 50 cm. Feuilles de 0 à 9, coriaces. Ovaire pubescent. Fleurs de 2 à 4, blanches, jaunes, brunes. Sépale dorsal ovale. Sépales latéraux soudés. Pétales linéaires. Labelle en sabot. Chromosomes : 2n=26. Type de sol : calcaire.
