Description sommaire

Plante épiphyte, lithophyte. Taille de 0 à 50 cm. Feuilles de 4 à 6, linéaires. Fleurs de 3 à 7, jaunes, violettes, brunes. Sépale dorsal ovale, de 22-55 × 25-35 mm. Sépales latéraux elliptiques, soudés, de 22-55 × 20-28 mm. Pétales en spatule, de 50-90 × 15-31 mm. Labelle en sabot, de 35-40 × 21-31 mm. Chromosomes : 2n=26. Biotopes : forêt tropicale dense hygrophile (pluviométrie>3000 mm), forêt tropicale dense hygrophile (pluviométrie>3000 mm).
