Description sommaire

Plante terrestre. Taille de 8 à 30 cm. 1 racines. Feuilles de 2 à 3, de 20-70 × 7-20 mm, en rosette basale, lancéolées, oblongues. Bractées plus courtes que l'ovaire, aussi longues que l'ovaire. Inflorescence cylindrique, dense, en épi. Ovaire coudé, sessile. Fleurs de 20 à 70, à périanthe en cloche, vertes, à parfum de fourmi, de miel, de musc. Sépale dorsal ovale. Sépales latéraux ovales. Pétales lancéolés, oblongs, trilobés. Labelle trilobé. Chromosomes : 2n=40. Biotopes : gazon et pelouse, prairies humides, bord des sentiers. Type de sol : calcaire, crétacé.
