Commentaires

In some respects Eulophiella longibracteata is similar to both E. elisabethae Rolfe and E. capuroniana Bosser & Morat both in habit and floral morphology. It is however characterised by its cylindrical pseudobulbs, semi-upright inflorescence with a dense raceme of over 30, generally non-resupinate flowers, and subulate to lanceolate floral bracts that are invariably longer than the pedicel and ovary. In addition, the flowers are smaller than those in E. elisabethae and the lip somewhat broader with different ridges and calli on the lip. The flowers are similar in size to those of E. capuroniana but the ridges and calli of the lip are distinct.
