Description sommaire

Plante terrestre. Taille de 15 à 30 cm. Tige pubescente. 2 feuilles, carénées, ovales. Bractées plus longues que l'ovaire. Ovaire pédicellé. Fleur unique, blanche, violette. Sépale dorsal ovale. Sépales latéraux soudés. Pétales linéaires. Labelle en sabot. Dessins du labelle : taches. Chromosomes : 2n=20. Biotopes : bouleaux, forêts de conifères, prairies humides.
