Description sommaire

Plante terrestre. Taille de 25 à 40 cm. Feuilles de 6 à 13, de 400-790 × 5-21 mm, distiques, linéaires. Fleurs de 3 à 5, blanches, jaunes, violettes, brunes, à parfum . Sépale dorsal elliptique, oblong, de 22-28 × 5-6 mm. Sépales latéraux elliptiques, oblongs, de 22-28 × 5-6 mm. Labelle trilobé. Chromosomes : 2n=40. Biotopes : forêt tropicale dense hygrophile (pluviométrie>3000 mm), forêt tropicale dense mésophile (18003000 mm). Type de sol : calcaire.
