Description sommaire

Plante terrestre. Taille de 8 à 20 cm. Tige . Feuille unique, de 20-45 × 18-28 mm, ovales, pétiolées. Bractées lancéolées, plus longues que l'ovaire. Ovaire pédicellé. Fleur unique, à périanthe étalé, rose, à parfum de vanille. Sépale dorsal lancéolé, linéaire. Sépales latéraux lancéolés, linéaires. Pétales lancéolés, linéaires. Labelle en sabot. Chromosomes : 2n=28,38. Biotopes : forêts de conifères, marais, mousses.
