ESPECE DOUTEUSE :(Perrier de la Bâthie)Cette espèce, que Ridley déclarait en 1885 « quite indeterminable », si elle appartient au genre Angraecum, ce qui est douteux, ne peut être qu'A. calceolus qui, seule des espèces de ce grand genre, a les fleurs parrfois disposées en panicule d'épis. L'absence de type rend d'ailleurs impossible cette identification.[137]The flower is close to Angraecum striatum and A. bracteosum in section Hadrangis which are only found in the Mascarenes. Garay places this species in Monixus Finet, as Monixus coriaceum. It is lectotypified by Angraecum striatum Thouars, condidered indeterminable by Ridley.
