Description sommaire

Plante épiphyte. Taille de 18 à 40 cm. Bractées ovales. Fleurs de 4 à 7, jaunes, violettes, à parfum de banane. Eperon de 0 à 2 mm, conique. Sépale dorsal elliptique, oblong, de 14-15 × 7-8 mm. Sépales latéraux elliptiques, oblongs, de 11-13 × 6-7 mm. Pétales oblongs, de 0-9 × 0-3 mm. Labelle trilobé, de 8-9 × 4-5 mm. Chromosomes : 2n=38.

Commentaires

Proche de A. wightiana, présente dans l'île d'Aldabra.
